Moroccan Preserved Lemons




Thanks to a family friend I had more lemons than I knew what to do with so my friend Sarah and I decided to have had a lemon preserving adventure the other day, using this recipe. I hope they turn out, the recipe is so simple that I'm sceptical.

The pictures came out great! I think tomorrow is the day I check to see that they are submerged in juices (???) or whatever. I love the colors and the lighting and the salt scattered around on the table.

I have a mason of these fermenting in my fridge, and have not dared use them yet, for the self same reason! Perhaps it's time to crack them open and give them a go, fingers crossed!
