2013 Calendar Time

I just updated my store with my new 2013 calendar! This year I printed it myself with my archival giclée photo printer onto white Epson Ultra Premium matte paper, which makes the painting detail and hand lettering crisp and sharp. Indian Summer

I just got a CD by the band of an acquaintance back in Michigan and I'm SUPER impressed. It's my new favorite thing to listen to while I work. It seriously makes me feel so happy, especially this song, since this is how I feel today. The weather is just too beautiful and perfect to be inside working and fretting about stuff!

Reading, A Show, &ct.

This is my mornings lately: Delicious late summer melon, good coffee, and a book I'm really enjoying. I've found that my quiet morning reading and tea/coffee drinking is essential to my heath and welfare, no matter how much I have to get done during the day.
I did this piece for The BLAB Show, which just opened at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica CA. The theme of the show was "dreams" so I decided to revisit a theme I've done in the past. (I actually didn't know I was in this show until a few days before the piece had to be there, so I did this in one frantic day). The show is up though September if you want to visit it.


I've been trying to ignore it but it's getting pretty obvious that fall is pretty much here. Autumn is my favorite season but I feel like summer just started it's gone by so fast! Oh well, the days are still warm and rain free and there is it so much to enjoy!

Calendar Peek

Hello everyone! I wanted to thank you all so much for your support and kind words about my new logo design. You are so kind!

So today I wanted to share a little peek at my 2013 Calendar!


I put the final touches on it a few weeks ago but only just ordered the paper for printing. After much agonizing I decided to print them myself instead of having them printed at a print shop. For some reason I was fixated on doing that but after some research into paper etc.  I realized I have a beautiful, high quality photo printer that is capable of printing larger format things! So that is what I'm going to do this year.
I can't wait to reveal the whole thing, I think you'll like it! I'm hoping to have it in my shop by the end of September.
